Recently, have been rather fascinated about anything to do with details. Details such as prints, patterns or colours.....i am simply drawn into those stuff (maybe i am influenced by LV latest polka dots collection. HA!). I am so grateful to be collaborating with D'invite. DJ + Jasmine

I know I know...It has been a long awhile since I posted something. I just came back from a retreat in Chiang Mai. That place still is one of the best place on earth for me. Especially when you get to stay in The Chedi. What else can i ask for?

Alright...Back to the main topic. I was packed with photography works since I came back home. Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining at ALL. I love photographing people, editing, creating beautiful images. When there's photography work means there are people out there appreciating my work. So thank you if you are one of them. I believe you are since you are reading this post. HA!

Now the serious stuff.

It was a pleasure being able to shoot DJ & Jasmine together with 18 groomsmen and 12 bridesmaids (yes, you heard me right. 30 in total!). Extremely sweet and down to earth couple. Simply thankful for this opportunity. Below are some of the images. Hope you guys like it.

my fav. wedding photographers

Been reading up alot on wedding photography these days. different styles of photography, types of cameras, natural lighting, flashes and etc...There are two amazing and inspiring film photographers which I totally adore their style of photography a whole damn lot! (personally i am using digital camera. I hope to get my hands on film camera...someday!) They are Jose Villa and Elizabeth Messina. I am so inspired by the way they use natural lighting on most of their work. That creamy pastel tone makes every picture so delicious to look at!

Currently I am reading 'The Luminous Portrait' by Elizabeth Messina. Awesome book! Hence, I shall end my post with a quote by Elizabeth.

"Our cameras are the extensions of our eyes, and the lights we choose is the heart of our images."

My nephew ( we usually call him 乐乐) , just like his name, he is the joy of our family. ( although he can be a little terrorist at times.)

Who can resist that smug looks on his face whenever he receives a new toy or that giggly laughter when you tickle him over and over?

Well, I don't know about you but I can't!

I have been wanting to capture that saccharine smile for the longest time but i just couldn't find the time to do so (or maybe it's just pure procastination...HA!). Then a thought just came to my mind... You know, kids don't stay the same forever, they grow up, they make new friends, so on and so forth. So better grab the chance now while they still like to cuddle around you. Hence, the pictures below. Ta-da~! Extremely happy with pictures.

Just got back from holiday.

my virgin trip to Taipei and....

It will not be my last! lovin it! 

Before my trip, people has been telling me that you will fell in love with taipei. True enough, I did and I kinda of know why. It was the entire experience that makes the trip wholesome. The service, the food and  not to forget the people there (including my taiwanese friends) makes me want to go back taipei SOON!

Then of course, the people you are going with play a big part too. So thank you! Let's go again soon!

Picture makeover (Ombre effect)

Recently I have been following PulgyPixel's blog closely. I must say she has alot of amazing and easy to apply photoshop tutorials. Thanks to her. I have decided to give one of my pictures a J-over (makeover). I chose this one that i took in Milan. Ta-da! Hope you guys like it too!

Been a long time yea! 2012 has just began. I decided to give my blog a 'facelift'. If you noticed, I have changed my logo, fonts and the entire blog layout. It looks gorgeousss!

2011 was certainly an eventful year for me. Trips after trips. Sooo thankful to have a job that keeps my holidaylihood alive! my 2011 ended with a white christmas. What else can I ask for?
